Part number H50344 is an AS568-344 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.27 in (108.46 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The compound resists petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
