APG stocks the SV70344, an AS568-344 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.27 in (108.46 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments.
