This o-ring is supplied in AS568-347 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A with an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.645 in (117.98 mm), catalogued under part number H50347. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material holds up against many alcohols, water, and petroleum-based oils. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or strong acids call for a different compound.
