This o-ring is supplied in AS568-349 black HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.895 in (124.33 mm), catalogued under part number HSN70346. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists ozone and weathering, modern refrigerants, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where esters or ketones are present.
