568-353 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70353 is an AS568-353 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.395 in (137.03 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service, very high tensile strength and load capacity. Expect good resistance to impact and shock loading, petroleum oils, and abrasion and wear. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or acids and bases are present.

Typical settings include construction machinery, press and forming equipment, and mining and heavy equipment.
