568-354 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70354 is an AS568-354 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.1 in (129.54 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.52 in (140.21 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. The compound resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.

It sees regular use in cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, food and beverage processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
