-355 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

APG stocks the VITON75355, an AS568-355 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.225 in (132.72 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.645 in (143.38 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to many acids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and aerospace.
