The SV70355 is an AS568-355 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.225 in (132.72 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.645 in (143.38 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
