This o-ring is supplied in AS568-356 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.77 in (146.56 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75356. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines.
