SV70356 is an AS568-356 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.77 in (146.56 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and aerospace.
