568-356 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-356 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.77 in (146.56 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90356. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones are present.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
