This o-ring is supplied in AS568-356 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.77 in (146.56 mm), catalogued under part number U70356. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists impact and shock loading, abrasion and wear, and ozone. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for very high tensile strength and load capacity, outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where acids and bases or ketones are present.

It sees regular use in off-highway equipment, hydraulic cylinders, and press and forming equipment.
