-357 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

Ordered as A80357, this is an AS568-357 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.475 in (139.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.895 in (149.73 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material holds up against high-temperature steam, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and strong bases. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
