Part number H50359 is an AS568-359 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.145 in (156.08 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
