568-359 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70359, an AS568-359 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.145 in (156.08 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The compound resists strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and wide temperature swings. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, and cryogenic and high-temperature equipment.
