SV70359 is an AS568-359 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.145 in (156.08 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
