568-364 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-364 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.145 in (181.48 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90364. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in automotive air conditioning, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.
