This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-367 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile measuring an inside diameter of 7.475 in (189.87 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.895 in (200.53 mm), catalogued under part number SV70367. It delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and automotive fuel systems.
