Ordered as TES70368, this is an AS568-368 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.725 in (196.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.145 in (206.88 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The compound resists wide temperature swings, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
