568-368 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70368 is an AS568-368 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.725 in (196.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.145 in (206.88 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, heavy-duty powertrain, and commercial refrigeration.
