568-370 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-370 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 8.225 in (208.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.645 in (219.58 mm), catalogued under part number TES70370. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. The material holds up against steam, strong acids and solvents, and wide temperature swings. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges are present.
