This o-ring is supplied in AS568-370 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 8.225 in (208.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.645 in (219.58 mm), catalogued under part number U70370. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for exceptional abrasion resistance and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. This material stands up to ozone, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or acids and bases are present.
