568-371 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

APG stocks the HS70371, an AS568-371 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, engine timing systems, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
