Part number HS70372 is an AS568-372 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.

Typical settings include engine timing systems, heavy-duty powertrain, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
