568-372 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

U70372 is an AS568-372 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, ozone, and abrasion and wear. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for very high tensile strength and load capacity, exceptional abrasion resistance. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or acids and bases.

It sees regular use in high-pressure fluid power, construction machinery, and press and forming equipment.
