APG stocks the H50374, an AS568-374 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.225 in (234.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.645 in (244.98 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, water, and many alcohols. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving strong acids or ketones call for a different compound.
