Ordered as SV70374, this is an AS568-374 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.225 in (234.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.645 in (244.98 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists many acids, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
