Ordered as SV70375, this is an AS568-375 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.895 in (251.33 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.

Typical settings include oil and gas, chemical processing, and automotive fuel systems.
