Part number SV70376 is an AS568-376 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.725 in (247.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.145 in (257.68 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.
