This o-ring is supplied in AS568-376 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 9.725 in (247.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.145 in (257.68 mm), catalogued under part number HS70376. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
