This o-ring is supplied in AS568-376 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 9.725 in (247.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.145 in (257.68 mm), catalogued under part number HS70376. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.
It resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Common environments for this compound include oilfield and downhole equipment, engine timing systems, and automotive air conditioning.
This item is sold individually under part number HS70376. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. If you need a size, durometer or compound that is not listed, APG can cross-reference from a print, a sample or a competitor part number.
