568-377 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

Ordered as SV70377, this is an AS568-377 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.395 in (264.03 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or hot water and steam are present.
