568-378 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70378 is an AS568-378 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.895 in (276.73 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include heavy-duty powertrain, commercial refrigeration, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
