568-379 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-379 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.395 in (289.43 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90379. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in esters or strong oxidizing acids.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and heavy-duty powertrain.
