568-379 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70379 is an AS568-379 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.395 in (289.43 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for very high tensile strength and load capacity, long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The material holds up against ozone, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature are present.

Typical settings include press and forming equipment, construction machinery, and mining and heavy equipment.
