Ordered as V75380, this is an AS568-380 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.895 in (302.13 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
