568-380 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70380 is an AS568-380 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.895 in (302.13 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

The compound resists wide temperature swings, steam, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, food and beverage processing, and chemical processing.
