APG stocks the SV70380, an AS568-380 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.895 in (302.13 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
