The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
