-384 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75384 is an AS568-384 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.395 in (391.03 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.
