Ordered as HS70384, this is an AS568-384 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.395 in (391.03 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. It resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or esters.

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, commercial refrigeration, and engine timing systems.
