Part number H50385 is an AS568-385 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.375 in (415.93 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or automotive brake fluid.
