568-385 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-385 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.375 in (415.93 mm), catalogued under part number U90385. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The compound resists ozone, impact and shock loading, and extrusion under high pressure. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature are present.

It sees regular use in press and forming equipment, off-highway equipment, and high-pressure fluid power.
