-386 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-386 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.375 in (441.33 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75386. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
