This o-ring is supplied in AS568-386 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.375 in (441.33 mm), catalogued under part number HS70386. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C).
