This o-ring is supplied in AS568-386 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.375 in (441.33 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90386. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and ozone and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service.
