This o-ring is supplied in AS568-387 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.375 in (466.73 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90387. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Typical settings include engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
