568-389 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70389 is an AS568-389 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 19.953 in (506.81 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.373 in (517.47 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and strong resistance to permeation. The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, steam, and wide temperature swings. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
