568-393 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Ordered as TES70393, this is an AS568-393 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 23.94 in (608.08 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 24.36 in (618.74 mm). Expect good resistance to wide temperature swings, steam, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is widely chosen for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.
