This o-ring is supplied in AS568-394 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 24.94 in (633.48 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 25.36 in (644.14 mm), catalogued under part number VB90394. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
