568-394 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70394 is an AS568-394 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 24.94 in (633.48 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 25.36 in (644.14 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. It resists steam, wide temperature swings, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and cryogenic and high-temperature equipment.
